My Story...

I know what it is like to love God, love your husband, and still not like the way you sometimes show up at home.

Anderick and I have been married for 23+ years. By God’s grace, we are not just still married - we are best friends. But that friendship was not built by accident.

Early in our marriage, communication was hard. We loved each other, but we did not always know how to get on the same page. There were times frustration built, conversations got delayed, and connection suffered.

God had to mature me in real ways.

My timing.
My tone.
My facial expressions.
My body language.
My heart posture.

I had to learn that even when my words were true, they still needed to be wrapped in wisdom, honor, and respect. I had to learn how to give space without disconnecting. I had to learn how to let the Holy Spirit lead my responses instead of letting frustration lead my reactions.

Marriage, motherhood, ministry, busy seasons, and grief have all shaped me. They have taught me that a godly woman is not perfect by any means.

She is a surrendered woman.

She is willing to let God search her heart, soften her words, renew her mind, and teach her how to build her home with wisdom.

I know what it is like to be love God deeply and still need help honoring Him in every area of my life and household.
